14. Louis Frank(lin?) NORMAN (75) was born in 1858 in Calhoun Co., WV.(6)(76) He was also known as Frank.(6) He was married to Phobe Anne WEBB on Feb 4 1879 in Calhoun Co., WV. (77)

15. Phobe Anne WEBB(78) was born in 1863 in Calhoun Co., WV.(6) (79) She was also known as Annie. In Wes Cochran's "Calhoun County Marriages" it is recorded that Frank Norman married Annie Webb and that she was the daughter of Lafayette and Malissa Webb and born around 1863. Lafayette and Malissa Webb appear in both Don Norman's "Descendants of Thomas Norman" and "Descendants of Jonas Webb Sr", with the same five children. However, none are named Annie and none were born in 1863.

The following 1870 Census record was located by Nancy E. Gates in Wes Cochran's "1870 Census for Calhoun County":

Based on this I take Phobe and Annie to be the same person. -- TAJ, 5/26/97 In Wes Cochran's "Calhoun County Marriages" Annie Webb is recorded to have married Frank Norman. It is also recorded that her parents are Lafayette Webb and Malissa Norman and her birth year is 1863. Lafayette and Malissa appear in Don Normans "Descendants of Jonas Webb Sr" and "Descendants of Thomas Norman" with a nearly identical list of children, none of them named Annie or born in 1863. The following 1870 Census record was found in Wes Cochran's "1870 Census for Calhoun Co." by Nancy E. Gates:
