6. Thomas Jefferson STARCHER was born in 1891 in Calhoun Co., WV.(27) He died on Apr 5 1960 in Akron, Summit Co., OH. He was buried in Akron, Summit Co., OH.(28) (29) He is buried in Greenlawn cemetery, section F, NE corner behind the old chapel. Grandpa and grandma Starcher lived for as long as I can remember at 1298 Atwood Ave., Akron, Ohio. They rented rooms on the first and second floors of the house and lived in the basement and slept in the attic. Grandpa was a tall man with little hair on top. I believe he suffered from Essential Tremor. This caused him to shake and consequently to be unable to hold a job or drive a car. He died when I was 15 of a stroke. I can remember going over to their house every year when I was younger to pick peaches from the trees that grew in their side yard. My mom and other moms in the family would can them. He was married to Olive NORMAN on Feb 24 1913 in Grantsville, WV. (30)(6) (31) He was divorced from Olive NORMAN on Nov 20 1922 in Akron, Summit Co., OH.(32)

7. Olive NORMAN was born on Jan 18 1898 in West Virginia. (33) She died on May 4 1929 in Akron, Summit Co., OH.(33) Children were:

child i. Chester A STARCHER was born on May 18 1915 in Roseville, Muskingum Co., Ohio. (34)(35) (36) He was ill with Polio about 1922. (6)(37) As a result of having polio when 7 years old he was left with one leg shorter than the other and had to use crutches to walk. Sometimes he would also use them to smack his sister Ernie. He resided between 1941 and 1945 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH.(38) He died on May 2 1945 in Zanesville, Muskingum Co., OH.(38) (39) He was buried in Akron, Summit Co., OH.(40) (41) He is buried in Greenlawn cemetery, section F, NE corner behind the old chapel.
child ii. Ruth Irene STARCHER was born in 1917 in Ohio. (34) She appeared on the census in 1920 in Akron, Summit Co., OH. (34) She died about 1924 in Akron, Summit Co., OH.(42)
